Keeping the memories alive…
I bought a swift to hold skeins of yarn whilst I’m winding them, instead of balancing them round my knees. I also bought a nostepinne which is basically a stick. You wind yarn around it in such a way that you make a centre pull cake or egg shape. The swift works fine but I don’t think I’ve quite got the technique of nostepinne winding yet!

At the beginning of this year, Hull had a visit from the world famous street artist Banksy. I’ve been saying for ages that I intend to volunteer for Oakwood Dog Rescue in a dog-walking capacity.
